Hey everyone,
We are still chugging along with Harolds still, and it is going well. The editor still plans for having the book complete by the end of February/begging of March.
I want to show you all the content for the book in the form of the flora that will be in the book. I hope these links will work for you all and this is the first time that I am trying out the adobe sharing feature. If it does not work I apologize and this update is a way to test out that feature for easy sharing instead of using the website and such.
So, hopefully, these will work and will take much less time for you guys to see these previews and such.
While we do want your feedback, we ask that you do not comment on the Kickstarter page about any corrections that need to be done. If you have comments as always leave them on this update, but any editing please allow us to get the book all laid out and complete and then we will ask for editing remarks to be sent to us by email. It is really just a way for us to compile and organize it all, remember there are 900 of you all and only two of us. We want this to be everything you are hoping that it is and I'm rather happy with it thus far.
Do not miss out on the sister book to Harolds! We are down to the final week of the Kickstarter and would love to have each of you supporting that project and see how we interweave the flora and fauna together!

Hey everyone! Do not worry we are still working diligently on this project and the editor is complete a few of the sections of the flora and here is a preview of one of the fruits!
So I hope you guys like what we are doing thus far, but the main reason for this update is about the from the wilds and it is going to be pretty darn awesome. The first thing is that it is getting a facelift and a new title.
The Harolds book was a great plant book and our current project Niwris is a great animal book. Yet, this one is about what happens to the players and character when they are actually in the wilds and will be chock-full of realistic content that makes great logical sense. We won't forget the fantasy aspect though!

All this content we are putting out this year has so far has came together in the form of content better than I would have ever dreamed.
So without any further words from me here is The Weavers Writings on the Wilds that 111 of you brought to life and made me pump out an extra 80 pages to end up at 115 pages for this book

You might be wondering what I mean by facelift and that means it is changing quite a bit from the original concept. That does not mean it will not have all the other things we wanted to put in it but rather it will have more.
Originally, this supplement was supposed to be a section in the Harold the Halflings Herbology Handbook but sadly we did not meet the stretch goal to unlock it. Yet, yall still wanted it and so we decided to start writing and we are done with the first draft.
So, what will be in The Weavers Writings on the Wilds?
A New Narrator - Ripley the Weaver of the Woods - Female Orc Ranger
From The Wilds - A section of nature-based deities & nature-based races
Dwellers of the Wilds - A section on the nature-based classes & nature-based backgrounds
Lost in the Wilds - A section of how an adventurer or party could end up in a survival situation, the mental strain it can place on even the bravest of adventurers, and how to navigate out of the wilds.
Basics of the Wilds - A section on the important things with survival like survival kits, water, shelter, fire, and food.
Dangers of the Wilds - A section on the dangerous things in the wilds like plants, animals, water crossings, and more
Wilds of the Worlds - A section of the different areas in which the most dangerous wilds occur like the deserts, oceans, jungles, and artic areas. The areas will have special details about how to survive them.
Medicine of the Wilds - A section on natural non-magical remedies, the physical injuries that the wilds can bring, and diseases of the wilds.
Magic of the Wilds - A section on nature-based spells, nature-based magic items, nature-based feats, and magical flora and remedies. Th
This book is planned right now to be 115 pages at the smallest and we think it might grow a bit! The core writing is all done for this book and now I am currently writing the tables and mechanics for it. Those who supported the section in the survey will be getting the PDF of this bad boy with a print on demand code to drive-thru for the hardback copy! So thank you for those who supported this little supplement turned huge! It will make a good trio with Harold the Halflings Herbology Handbook and Niwri's Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverse Niwri's Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverse.
This book is set to hit the editor's desk right after Harolds is complete so we should have the complete version in the first part of April.
First Look - Crop Plants Preview

Hey everyone, the editor has sent me some awesome content and I figured you all would like to get some of the first looks into some of the content that is planned for the book!
As you can see the content is quite beautiful and the art is amazing! There is a ton of content about each one of the plants and not just a one-paragraph of information. Let us know what you think of the content!
With this progress, the full PDF should be done on this whopping 190-page handbook!
We have also launched the brother to the Harold the Halflings Herbology Handbook! The Kickstarter exclusive cover for our current project is officially complete! The Niwris Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverse is a wonderful collection of fully detailed animals for your fantasy worlds.
We have been live on Kickstarter for only a week and the funding for Niwri's Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverse is going very well.
The book is narrated by Nirwi Evets who is an adventurer, an animal enthusiast, and a Master of the Veterinary Arts. He's spent his entire life studying, viewing, treating, and protecting the fantastic creatures from all the realms. Now he's put that expertise to use and has authored this compendium, told in his voice, that details the looks and lives of these fantasy animals, including their preferred food sources and how they interact with humanoids.
The first section is almost done and I will share more once I have more to share! We think the book is looking great though!

Than you again for all of your support during this project and I must say the project is coming along fabulously. You all have made this project amazing! As you know we have several books, but this is by far my favorite! It combines magic item content that was very much prominent in our other projects. This handbook will combine art, story inspiration, and useful content to truly elevate your games.

We were so inspired by the flora in Harolds the Halflings Herbology Handbook that we thought that is was a shame that there were no animals of the realms! The flora and fauna are sister and brother to one another after all as one grows on the earth and the other travels the earth. So much like Harolds, you will find similar content but for animals of the realms.
Niwri's Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverse is not another collection of run-of-the-mill zombies, dragons, tentacle eye monsters, or savage beasts thirsty for an adventurer's blood. That type of monster manual would be cliche at this point; we want to provide better for your fantasy worlds than an ordinary monster book.
These animals are inspired by fantasy and all will be fantastic in some way.
They will all seem as if they could exist on earth or some alien planet.
All of the animals will be usable in ANY fantasy role-playing game
Niwri's Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverse is a collection of fantasy creatures that you may never notice flying overhead or scurrying underfoot. The realms are full of mammals, fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and arthropods but unlike their more well-known beastly brethren, most of them do NOT want to kill anyone. In fact, the majority are probably more scared of you than you are of them. There's no need to fight them.
Yet, inevitably the "Murder Hobo Players" of the real world will try to kill that fantasy version of a squirrel because they were orphaned by parents who loved having "roast fantasy squirrel" or some other lame reason a player can devise for killing or maiming an innocent creature. So we've taken that into account, too.
If we hit all of our stretch goals, Niwri's Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverse will be a 190-page book detailing 15 species each of mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods... plus an additional 20 animals that backers will actually get to vote on. Your choices decide which animal family these critters will belong. That will bring the total count up to a whopping 110 animals!
The book will also contain 3 new races and 4 new sub-classes - both of which will be playable for 5E - and a massive dungeon adventure that's certain to be full of these brand-new animals. All told, there will be over 150 pieces of original artwork to make Niwri's Marvelous Menagerie of the Multiverseas much fun to view as it is to play.
All the writing content for all the individual flora, dungeon, and additional content have been sent to the editor and he has begun to work on the project. The editing process has begun with the dungeon portion by Chad and is already looking amazing!
This is where the rough and raw content that I create gets made into a beautiful product. Our editor does a truly amazing job and we are so very happy to have him.
Working on Double Project
Yes, he is amazing and has agreed to work on double projects which includes the Decks of Adventurers Allurement & the Handbook of Heroes artifacts.
The process of completion is taking awhile for those do to having to layout the artwork for each card and make them look truly beautiful. This may slow him down a bit, but his work will still be fabulous, and he holds his work to a professional standard, unlike any other editor.
Estimated Completion Date
Directly from the editor, he plans on having the pdf ready by the end of February, but give us a bit of room on that front!
Section Art
The section art is almost complete we just lack the crops section art, but we will probably end up paying for the flower section art to be remade.
This is due to the fact that is is just so different than the rest and it doesn't flow well! We want it to be a complete piece and even just one strange art piece could throw the whole project off! That being said there will not be any delay from the art on the project from the last art piece or a redone flower section art.
Card Art
The consumables card art is almost complete and should be done in the next few days and so far we are very happy with the content and will only have a handful of changes to these 200+ consumable magic items.
Dungeon Maps & Dungeon Art
The dungeon & map art has been done for some time and is ready to plug into the dungeon. The editor is making great use of the artwork and laying it out beautifully!
Plant Art
The plant art is almost done we only lack 13 more pieces to go and Alex is working hard but has started a full-time art position. The support from you all allowed us to hire Alex for this project and get him through until he was able to achieve the full-time art position! So, in case you thought that your funds did not go to a good cause or we just hired artists that had no real struggles. You can now see that truly you supporting are project also supports other individuals in our community and neighborhoods. I am sure he is very thankful just like we are to every single one of you!
So we do not have a true date yet but the editing is planned to be done in February and so we are thinking the April to May dates for everything to be completed.
Order Test Print
The test print will be ordered just shortly after the editor is completed with the book content and it will take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive at our warehouse.
Ordering Full Order
The full order will be ordered after we receive the test print and then we will order the full run of prints. That being said we will then get an updated delivery date from them and sent that to you all!
Digital Files
This will be the first look of the book and should happen right around early March and just in time for delivery!
The content for this supplement that will be a PDF & available to those who supported in the backer kit will be hitting the editor's desk shortly after the completion of harolds! I am working on writing it all now and I think it will be fabulous!

So this is where the struggle is for the writing and we would love feedback!

10 items only found in homes of people that reside in the wilds

a magical bag of beans that when you pull out a bean and throw it on the ground different things can happen
10 or more nature bases spells
10 or more nature-based crafting materials
Is that enough stuff? We also are thinking strongly about writing a dungeon for this supplement as well!
